I visited with George 1-time approximately 5 years ago (Nov 08). After a very relaxing 45 minutes I walked out of there without the urge to smoke. I was a 1/2 pack a day smoker for several years. George recommended I chew carrot sticks, celery and eat fruit for a few days if the urge hit. That was a good suggestion as it helped keep my mind, and mouth, from not thinking about smoking for the 1st few days while the nicotine cleanses from the system. Literally, after a day or two, I just stopped thinking about smoking. If the thought does not occur to you…. you find yourself not smoking! It happened just like that! Excellent result and the best 45 minutes I ever spent! Thanks George!

After 20 years as a smoker, starting at about age 13 I needed to quit. My general lifestyle didn’t allow for an easy road to stopping smoking, Drinking coffee, Beer, Wine and the like left me wanting a cigarette after each drink.
For 20 years my world was ruled by the deafening thought “Do you have enough cigarettes?
I had already tried Patches, cold turkey, and even acupuncture the only thing that ever worked was USMC Bootcamp. Since I had no desire to go through a training cycle again I had to find something that could work.
Enter George Wissing; a client in Larchmont who shares his office with other professionals, mentioned Hypnosis. I was of course skeptical about it working, like anyone would be or you are who is ready this post.
I spoke to George he asked me to think about why i wanted to quit and what my reasons are. The following week he and I met on that faithful day September 29, 2004. I sat back and began to listen to the rythmic sounds of George’s voice.
60 Minutes later, i was a non-smoker. I arrived with a pack of cigarettes, and through them away as i left his office.
Since then i haven’t had a cigarette, been able to sit and hang out with smokers, drinkers, and was able to indulge myself. Without ever wanting a cigarette.
Now years later i can take a deep breath without a coughing.
I am so thankful that I sent a half dozen of my friends to George for them to experience the same freedom I feel, most have stopped smoking.
Thanks George!

Aaron, this is awesome. And I’m obviusly glad that you’re so happy with your results! Since I’m a perfectionist, make sure you tell any one of those friends you sent to me , who is still struggling with that devious smoking habit, to use their guarantee and come back in ASAP! Minimally I need to send them a free PDF of my book!

Hi George,
Most people find it hard to believe that, after 37 years of a 2-pack a day habit, I was able to quit smoking after just one session with you on April 7, 2005. I haven’t had — or even wanted — a cigarette since then. Part of this was your great skill, of course (!), but another part was a very strong motivation to sing well again. Singing was never my career, but since childhood it always was my joy.
But over all those years, the cigarettes had damaged both my breathing ability and my range, which had shrunk from a generous four octaves to less than one. I kidded myself that it didn’t matter that I couldn’t sing well or high anymore, because I sang with so much FEELING. Ha!
Then, once I threw the cigs away, it didn’t take long before the breath came back, stronger than ever. I began working with a vocal coach who not only helped restore what I thought I’d lost forever, but taught me how to make a new sound that’s warm and rich, and full of unexpected colors.
And soon after that, when I met the love of my life (online, yes, it works!), who is a trained musician, we were able to make beautiful music together — literally! He has a day job, but is a trained bassist/guitarist and a singer as well. We have a blast playing and recording together, and now we have a jazz quartet that gets together twice a month. It’s great fun, and we even had our first paying gig recently. I’m the “chick singer.” Amazing!!!
None of this would be possible if I were still smoking. In fact, my fiance hates smoking so much that he wouldn’t have dated me if I was still hooked on those things.
As you might imagine, I am grateful every day for all of this. Who knew that so many wonderful new things could happen at this um…advanced stage of my life?
Bless you, George, for your part in it!

My life had become quite depressing as I was ensared in a pack a day smoking habit. I had tried to quit on my own and failed so often that I was resigned to the fact that I would die a smoker.
I stumbled upon George’s website and decided that hypnosis would be worth a try. In one hour I had become smoke free! I couldn’t believe it. I went a year without touching a cigarette. During a stressful time I decided that if I had a cigarette it would be alright. Wrong! I was back to a pack a day habit in no time. I went back to smoking heavily. I used my follow up session with George without success. When I went to George the second time I did so with the idea that George was the sole reason for my quitting smoking. I placed all responsibility on George and did not participate in the process. That is why I failed.
After several months of struggling with patches and gum I contacted George again. I needed to know why I couldn’t get this done. George allowed me to read his book and complete the online session. Success! George’s book gave me an understanding of my role in the habit of smoking. I was again ready to rid myself of breathing difficulties and smelly clothes. The online session worked and I haven’t smoked in more than a year. I don’t consider cigarettes or tobacco at all! I supplied the desire to quit and George gave me the tools to get it done. I can’t thank you enough George!

Todd, thanks for sharing this experience. If it helps one other smoker not to give up, you may save someone’s life! Thanks for taking the time to share this with us. gw

George,
I wanted to let you know that it’s been a little over 2 years since my appointment with you and I have not had a cigarette since that day. I had been smoking cigarettes for over 20 years and tried everything I could to give them up. I would always find myself in a social situation where the desire to smoke would become so strong and I had to give in.
My wife set up the appointment with you because she really wanted me to quit. I have to admit that I did have some doubts about hypnosis and if it would really work. I wanted to quit so I was willing to try anything. After the session with you, I was amazed at how I was able to go right back to the same social events that always caused me to want a cigarette, only now I would go the entire time without even thinking about a cigarette. I could also be around other people who were smoking and it had no effect on me at all. Amazing!!
I am certain that if I did not see you that day, (November 30, 2006) I would still be smoking cigarettes. Thanks a lot!!

I have sent about 4 people to see you for either smoking or weight control/eating habits help, and a couple of them always thanks me for saving their life.
I look forward to reading your book…maybe it will help me with stress control?
